Why Your Home Needs a Power Wash: Before and After Pics
You’ve probably heard the expression: “It took a long time to break it, so you should expect for it to take a long time to fix.” Well, it’s not true. At least when it comes to power washing.
A power wash treatment for your home, driveway, sidewalk, or deck can reveal dramatic differences. After just a few hours of work, months or years of dirt and grime can be washed away to reveal a surface’s true color.
Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, feast you eyes on these photos:
You know that your home’s siding isn’t the cleanest it has ever been. But when you see what it looks like once the grime comes off, you’ll be astounded. This two-story home reinforces that fact.
It’s great to have a home in a forested or tree-laden neighborhood, and it’s even better to have a huge deck on which to sit and enjoy it. Even though these conditions can soil your deck over time, it takes less than a day to wash it all away.
If you have brick steps leading up to your front door, people are more likely to notice how dirty the brick is if they’re looking down to watch their steps. After a power wash, your guests will wonder how you got the money to put in new brick!
Power washing is just as effective on concrete patios, and the results are just as dramatic. And as this photo shows, you’ll be able to see the difference as the contractor works!
Brick walkways in apartment complexes can become filthy before you know it, especially if they are well-trafficked. Even so, it still takes much less time to “magically” wash all of that dirt and soil away.
In this photo of a brick patio, pay special attention to the grout lines around the bricks. Looking at the Before and After sections, it’s obvious what a spectacular difference power washing can make even in those hard-to-reach areas.
This home combines a wooden entry step with a concrete patio. So it’s an ideal spot to demonstrate the contrast between dirty and clean outdoor entertaining surfaces once a power wash treatment has been delivered.
As you can see, power washing can also involve cleaning machines like this one. What is also obvious is that these machines perform just as well as spray wands do — even on algae-stained brick driveways.
This would be the power washing version of the “Wash Me” lettering that’s often drawn on dusty car windows or panels with a finger. But hopefully, this image will stick in your mind as to how drastically effective a power washing treatment can be for buildings or surfaces on your property.
In addition to taking care of your gutters, roofs, and awnings, you should also maintain your outdoor surfaces and/or siding by scheduling periodic power wash treatments to keep them looking their best. Plus, you’ll experience the thrill of seeing remarkable results in just a few hours!
